Small service fees apply to: battery packs, small printers, flat monitors, flat-screen TVs, tube TVs/CRTs, plastic bundles, copy machines/large printers, and sorting/breakdown. In short, minimal fees apply only to plastic items or items containing hazardous material.
Yes! Data security is the core of City eWaste Katy’s business pickup service. Electronics containing storage media, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, are secured upon collection and handled through controlled processing channels. All sensitive data is handled using industry-standard methods performed by R2-certified downstream partners, which may include secure data wiping or physical destruction.
